Repiping is the replacement of existing but aging of no longer serviceable water piping that is already in your house. Whichever it is your property needs, we are the friendly professionals to call on to do the job.
New builds obviously need new piping but so do a lot of other developments of your property. Extensions will need new piping if they are going to be able to deliver hot and cold running water. Repurposing areas of your property, for example converting a basement or a garage into a utility area will need piping to provide the water required for sinks, faucets, and appliances. In many cases simple modernization will require new piping because as the years go by we have gotten used to more and more showers, baths, and vanity units around the home. All of which require piping. We design and install piping systems to get water where you want it with the minimum disruption to the functioning of your home. We're fast, efficient, and because of that we're very affordable, so if you're looking for new piping then get in touch today.
Repiping is where your existing pipes are not longer up to the job, which could be for a number of reasons, or perhaps you are bringing your plumbing up to date or converting an attic to a living space and looking to install a tankless water system to replace the old one. When we repipe we first protect all of the installations like carpets and turn off the water to minimize any leaks or spillages. We then make small cuts in the drywalls where piping is typically located in order to remove and replace the pipes themselves. This is a little like surgery where our skill enables us to manipulate and remove large amounts of piping with minimal incisions and without having to break down the drywall just to retrieve the old plumbing and replace it with the new.
Repiping doesn't have to be such a big job. Because of the skilled way we make small holes in dry walling to remove old piping and install the new we do very little damage to your property. Yes the water has to be cut off during this time but depending on the size of the property and the job this could be a matter of a single day. Failing to ensure you have modern piping, however, could cost you a lot more money and disruption because if a pipe fails it will start to leak and that can mean thousands of dollars in water damage and days of work to repair. Making repiping a smart option for your household budget as well as your home.
Reasons To Repipe
If your home is over 20 years old there's a chance it has galvanized steel pipes and they gradually erode. If you're seeing brownish stains or funny looking water come out of your faucets then you have erosion in the system somewhere. If you ever get leaks that show on walls or ceilings then your piping needs repiping.
